Mike is so nice and extremely knowledgeable not to mention reasonable and reliable. First off he comes to you! He repairs your car in your driveway, which for me as a mom of three was huuuuuge. He repaired my car, let my kids help explained the whole process to me and was cheaper than anyone else that had given me quotes. But that's not all. The next day when I got in my car it was acting a little funny, I called him pretty worried about it and he explained what it was and why it was acting the way it was and how it would sort itself out shortly. Then CAME BACK OUT TO REASSURE ME! He test drove it with me and waited until it was 100% better than it was before all for my piece of mind. It was a super common issue that he obviously knew would be totally ok but still went out of his way to make sure I felt safe. Contacted Mike when recommended by another garage in Santa Rosa who told me they couldn't help me. Mike was able to fit me in that day, and I was able to get my A/C in my 1994 Honda Accord LX looked at pronto! I was charged $100 for both dx and "fixing" the problem (just needed to top off the freon, apparently!), which is a far sight better than the $200-300 I've been charged in the past. Plus, Greg was really informative about all the parts of my car when asked, and I feel like I got a mini Intro to Autos course while I was waiting! Mike's dog is also a bonus. Woolf Automotive Repair super awesome and very reliable place to take your vehicle to be worked on. Bought a car and Mike the owner of Woolf automotive repair and his crew member took good care of my car. Told him I just bought a car and there's a problem with it which was that it needed both front wheel bearings replaced. He said okay let me look at it and I'll get back to you. He took pictures of the bearings and noticed there were some other stuff that could use work as well. So I came into the shop and he shows me the pictures of the bearings and also some other things that needed attention and explained to me properly what those things do and why they needed attention. So I say okay let's get it fixed and when he was done doing what needed to be done, he showed me the before and after pictures of what he worked on as well as lifting up my car and showing me what he worked on and replaced. After that my cars been running smoothly and hasn't caused me any trouble. All I can say is when you're spending money on getting your car fixed and wanting to know that things are actually getting done instead of feeling like you're being ripped off Woolf automotive is the place to go. Best mechanic in town! Seriously, I've been to a few and found this place to be the best. Friendly, affordable, and very knowledgeable. I got an appointment right away and the car was diagnosed, fixed and returned same day. No surprises. Mike made me feel very comfortable with what he was going to do with car and walked me through each step. I was also able to afford the work which was the best part! Mike is the man ! Known the guy for quite a while now. He knows his automotives very well and is a very trustworthy and honest guy .
